Emily McClure, beauty blogger, tried a relatively new product called Cleansing Conditioner from WEN by Chaz Dean (https://chazdean.com/store.aspx) for a week to see what would happen with her fine hair – and so the rest of us didn’t have to experiment with yet another hair product that might end up being a waste of time and money.
For those who aren’t aware of what cleansing conditioner is, it is an all-in-one product designed to replace five of your hair care staples. The products it is meant to replace include: shampoo, conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner, and deep conditioner.
Cleansing Conditioner from Wen hair by Chaz Dean comes in several varieties for different preferences. There’s a lovely Sweet Almond Mint for sale here, which Emily recommends for those who are interested in purchasing the product. These products are Sephora available and can also be purchased online through eBay.
So what actually happened in her week-long hair care experiment? The short answer is a hair success happened. Emily ended up receiving compliments from her friends when she went out on the health and shine of her hair, and she personally thought her hair was softer and felt fuller.
She did have one or two concerns about the product, primarily the amount of product called for, which understandably might make someone with fine hair balk. Her nighttime showering routine also concerned her, as she woke up with what she thought was greasy hair, a total no-go for her. A switch in her routine seemed to solve that problem, however, when she decided to shower in the morning instead.
Is Cleansing Conditioner from WEN by Chaz Dean worth it for fine hair? Emily says yes, particularly if you are a morning shower kind of person! The product works best with a morning wash and style.
